Animated video on 4R Nutrient Stewardship's Role in Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions
A new video animation has just been released explaining how farmers make 4R decisions (i.e., decisions on applying the Right source at the Right rate, Right time, and Right place) to minimize greenhouse gas emissions resulting from their nitrogen fertilizer applications. The video is available from the IPNI YouTube channel.

4R Nutrient Stewardship promotes the best management practices that help farmers maximize the economic, social, and environmental performance of their nutrient applications.

Videos from IPNI Feature 4R Nutrient Stewardship
Three videos produced by IPNI are carrying the message of 4R Nutrient Stewardship to audiences around the world. The rice video released by IPNI in Aug 2013 runs more than 9 minutes and details how growers can apply the right fertilizer source, at the right rate, at the right time, and in the right place needed to meet their rice production goals. The first video released by IPNI in 2010 on "The Right Way to Grow...4R Nutrient Stewardship" runs more than 11 minutes and explains how the 4Rs can make sense in both developed and less developed countries, while another video on "The Right Way to Grow Wheat...4R Nutrient Stewardship" runs more than 8 minutes and specifically addresses the economic, environmental, and social goals of sustainable agricultural systems needed to meet global demand for wheat.
