Crop Nutrient Removal Calculator App (PlantCalc) for iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch
This app provides estimates of crop removals of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and sulfur for a broad, and continually expanding, list of field crops. Results can be displayed in either metric or U.S./Imperial units. The app can be downloaded from apple store for use on iPhone/iPad/iPod touch, and is available in six languages including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese (Mandarin).

The multilingual, web-based tool provides estimates for crop nutrient removal for a broad, and continually expanding, list of field crops. Results are calculated based on user-selected yield goals and can be displayed in either metric or U.S./Imperial units. It is available in six languages including English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, and Chinese (Mandarin).

IPNI Estimates of Nutrient Uptake and Removal
This page lists estimates of nutrient uptake and removal for different crops grown in different countries of the world and represent what IPNI scientists believe to be the best estimates of typical values to date. They are updated as new data become available.

NuGIS
The Nutrient Use Geographic Information System (NuGIS) integrates multiple tabular and spatial datasets to create county-level and watershed-level estimates of nutrients applied to the soil in fertilizer and livestock manure, and nutrients removed by harvested agricultural crops.

A nutrient cycle is the movement and exchange of organic and inorganic matter back into the production of living matter. The process is regulated by food web pathways that decompose matter into mineral nutrients.
