Estimating Nutrient Uptake Requirements for Soybean

Data from field experiments conducted in China were used to assess the relationship between soybean seed yield and nutrient uptake using the QUantitative Evaluation of the Fertility of Tropical Soils (QUEFTS) model.
Field validation indicated that QUEFTS could be used to estimate nutrient requirements and help develop fertilizer recommendations for soybean.
