Coconut
Description:Coconut (cocos nucifera)
When K is deficient, its application affects all yield contributing factors. K deficiency first affects the nut size, then the number of nuts. Prolonged severe deficiency will reduce the amount (and quality) of carbohydrates translocate to the root, which may result in a vicious cycle ending in root decay and death of the palm. In sever and prolonged deficiency, it may take 2-3 years before nut production is improved.
