Frontiers of Potassium Science Conference

Rome, 2017

The Frontiers of Potassium Science Conference, held in Rome, Italy, brought together nearly 130 scientists and agronomists from 37 countries to share key ideas for making much needed changes to potassium soil fertility assessments, fertilization recommendations, and educational efforts. The conference was organized around the Global 4R Nutrient Stewardship Framework: applying the right potassium source, at the right rate, at the right time, and in the right place.

The 2017 conference was an extension of the earlier K Frontiers Workshop held in Hawaii in 2015.

IPNI and its member companies are committed to using objective, evidence-based science to identify and rectify shortfalls in potassium nutrition.
