2010 Great Plains Soil Fertility Conference
Leadership Award

As in previous years, the Great Plains Leadership Award will again be presented at the Conference. The intent of the Award is to recognize timely and innovative soil fertility related activities which have resulted in increased profitability for Great Plains agriculture. Nominees for this Award are solicited from both private and public sector leaders in their field.
Plaque and Honorarium: To be presented to a deserving individual or team at the 2010 Great Plains Soil Fertility Conference on March 2-3, 2010 in Denver, Colorado.
Objective: To recognize timely and innovative soil fertility related activities which have resulted in increased profitability for Great Plains agriculture.
Potential Recipients: Individual or a team from either the private or public sectors that are viewed as leaders in the adoption of profitable soil fertility related practices or programs by Great Plains agriculture.
Selection Procedure: Selected by an ad hoc committee appointed by the 2010 Great Plains Soil Fertility Conference planning committee. A resume (three pages maximum) and three letters of nomination (one page each, maximum length) relating to the specific contributions of the nominated person or team should be submitted to the Leadership Award Committee. Nominators are encouraged to keep the nominations brief by focusing mainly on the relevant contributions of the individual or team. Submit your nominations to Mike Stewart Jones at the address below.
