This project is evaluating phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) fertilizer recommendations for irrigated alfalfa production on calcareous soils, and re-calibrates the sodium bicarbonate soil test for both P and K. It was initiated in 1996 and is scheduled to terminate at the end of 1999.
