This is a glasshouse experiment aimed to assess the opportunity to split K application on the growth and critical K levels for wheat, canola and lupins. These data will be used as part of improved K tissue diagnostics for a range of species as well as identify the opportunity to better manage K supply by splitting applications, so increasing nutrient use efficiency in the very light sandy soils of the Western Australian cropping region.
