Since 1995 a variable-rate fertilizer research and demonstration project has been conducted in north-central Missouri on two corn-soybean claypan soil fields. The objectives of this project are nearly identical to the objectives of the United Soybean Board's (USB) north-central region Site-Specific Soybean Systems Research Project.
