Current critical and sufficient soybean K tissue levels were identified primarily in conventional production systems. Thus tissue critical levels currently employed may or may not provide a good gauge of whether or not the plant is sufficient with regard to K. Recent work has shown that no-till soybeans require a slightly higher tissue K level to be considered sufficient (Yin and Vyn, 2004). This information could be used by growers to assess K management practices. |
