The objectives of this project were to evaluate the effect of applied boron on the production of ryegrass and Coastal bermudagrass in east Texas, and to monitor alfalfa root growth and yield response to boron in a greenhouse study. The importance of maintaining adequate soil boron levels to optimize alfalfa yields in limed acid soils has been established in past east Texas research.
