Field research plots will be established in Indiana in 2001 and 2002 in order to determine the response of corn hybrids with high yield potential to deeper placement of phosphorous (P) and potassium (K). Present plans are to compare root and shoot growth response to two hybrids at two plant populations to various depths and rates of P and K fertilizer placement.
