Interpretive Summaries:
Balanced fertilizer use in improved rice/soybean/soybean rotations on acid soils in north Aceh, 1995
Demonstrating the yield and economic effect of adding potassium (K) fertilizers in addition to common farmer practice of applying only nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) on yield of soybeans is becoming an effective way for transferring technology. Yield increases of 40 percent resulting from modest K application rates of 45 kg K2O/ha raised net returns by US$250/ha in on-farm demonstrations. The project is intended to be extended for one year. Aceh has 150,000 ha of soybeans. INDONESIA-11
