  1. Evaluate the relative effectiveness of nitrogen, phosphorus and sulfur in starter fertilizer on corn growth, nutrient uptake and yield under Michigan planting conditions, with emphasis on reducing tillage.
  2. Evaluate the effect of ammonium sulfate on phosphorus uptake by corn.
