Vegetable and flower responses to potash in Shanghai, 1996

The popular practice in growing carnations under controlled greenhouse conditions has been the application of a locally manufactured 10-7-8 (N-P2O5-K2O) compound fertilizer. Project results found yield increases of 6 percent could be obtained with an additional 120 kg K2O/ha. Agricultural markets in Shanghai create a large demand for cut flowers, and MYR provides optimum production levels. SHANGHAI-04
