      1. Determine nutrient flows in a series of rice-soybean-wheat-corn cropping systems.
      2. Measure the effect of recommended and enhanced fertilizer (N,P,K) levels in conventional and no-till treatments.
      3. Monitor the effectiveness of fertility levels and tillage approaches to maintain fertility and protect the natural resource base over time.
