This project was initiated in the fall of 1996 to evaluate the relative benefits of different phosphorus sources (liquid and dry) and best management practices for alfalfa production in the irrigated desert climate of Arizona. Data will be collected beginning in the spring of 1997 which will help focus on the P nutritional needs of alfalfa in a high yield environment. The yield goal of this study is 10 tons/A. |
