IPNI Annual Photo Contest Returns


June 9, 2017 – Peachtree Corners, GA, USA - Dust off your cameras and smartphones! The International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) annual photo contest is back for 2017. We want to see more from you talented shutterbugs.

Beginning now until December 5, 2017, submit your best photos in any of these four categories for major crops worldwide:

1. 4R Nutrient Stewardship (NEW) – the best use of crop nutrients with in-the-field examples of 4R Nutrient Stewardship
2. Primary Nutrient Deficiencies – including nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), and potassium (K)
3. Secondary Nutrient Deficiencies – including sulfur (S), calcium (Ca), and magnesium (Mg)
4. Micronutrient Deficiencies – including boron (B), copper (Cu), chloride (Cl-), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn), molybdenum (Mo), nickel (Ni), and zinc (Zn)

For each category, the first prize winner will be awarded a cash prize of US$150 and second prize, US$100. Winners shall be announced in early 2018.

Entries will be judge on the best photo-caption combination by a special panel of IPNI scientists. While there is no entry fee, please note each person is allowed to submit only one (1) photo per category electronically via https://www.ipni.net/photocontest/learn.
